Starting THIS Saturday we’ll be cheering for #2 on Team Japan! Here’s a sneak peak at her Vol-Orange colored uniform:)
So on a quiet Sunday afternoon Addy & I decided to head to the mall to buy her some new soccer gear (her first practice is tomorrow (Monday) night). So I was working on the weekly cards for the church and asked Justin to get her dressed. So the first picture is SERIOUSLY what she left the house wearing. 🙂
Then we were at the mall in JCPenny’s looking for 3T/4T athletic gear (which apparently DOESN’T exist) and Addy wondered off. I wasn’t too worried because I could still hear her but just couldn’t see her. Well as I ask her to come stand with me this is what I turned around to see.
So many if you may know the news but I still can not believe that God has allowed Justin & I to take part in the INCREDIBLE movement of God here in Lubbock! This past week Outreach Magazine pre-released their top 100 lists for fastest & largest churches in America, Experience Life was named the eighth fastest growing church last year & this year we moved up to the SECOND fastest growing church in AMERICA!
God is sooo good!!
Here’s this week’s list…it’s a little shorter than normal because I FINALLY found some of the Illustrated Classics I was looking for so we’ll read these then start on “Alice and the Adventures of Wonderland”. Next week Addyson & I start BSF so we might skip story time…we’ll see how the week goes!
We’ve had a blast this holiday weekend with Grandmother Atkins! Justin’s 84-year-old grandmother flew here on Friday to spend a long weekend with us and I could not be happier!! I LOVE our family and am so excited that she has been able to come spend time with us in Lubbock!
We took her to Experience Life this weekend (our church) and she was a trooper! I know it is VERY different from what she experiences on a weekly basis yet she sung along and even filled out the First Time Guest card to get a free t-shirt 😉
She’s been a great playmate with Addyson and Owen and has cooked (some yummy veggies & fried chicken) & cleaned the kitchen even when I say “Just leave it Grandmother, I’ll do it” :).
She’s loved on us and I can’t say it enough… I LOVE my family!!!
Thank you Grandmother Atkins for coming to Lubbock to spend time with us!
