Ode to packing

So…I’ve not being looking forward to the packing part of this moving experience. In fact I have put it off for almost 3 weeks and earlier this week I started FREAKING out!!! So I finally asked for help :). I had 3 amazing friends come over Thursday night to help and we packed up most of the kitchen while our 7 kids played and watched Megamind (thanks to Redbox for the FREE 1 night rental).
Friday afternoon and evening some more friends came and we finished the kitchen and started the closets and knick knacks. Sunday afternoon some MORE amazing friends came over and we finished everything EXCEPT things we need to live for the next 3 days! I am SO thankful!!!

Mom stuff I HIGHLY recommend

Coupon Queen’s website

This is a site that I learned of almost 5 years ago and I LOVED it. It paid for itself VERY quickly AND it was just Justin and I at the time so I can’t imagine what I will save now that I’m buying for 2 kiddos too.
The Grocery Game

I’ve already blogged about this site but this is a GREAT site that lets in on some great SALES!

My sister-in-law introduced me to these great notebook/calendars a few years ago when she bought me my first one for my birthday. I LOVED it and I only had a baby. Now that I have 2 very busy kiddos I LOVE IT even more!

Lil Jungle

So there is a place here in Lubbock called Jumpin Jungle and it is HUGE but its only for parties SOO they have a smaller one that is open for Open Jump daily. We’ve lived here in Lubbock for 2 1/2 years and have NEVER been. We’ve gone to the mall to play at the playground MANY times but have never ventured over to the Jumping place. Owen is finally old enough to play so I was ready to try it. Here are some pictures of our fun time! Btw it did cost $7 per kid.

Addy is ready to her socks ON!

Owen wanted to play on the big kid equipment...he's trying so hard to get in and play!

Get in the Game

So these last two weeks at ELife Chris has been talking about Getting in the Game. This past weekend I was really effected by the passage in Acts. Here it is for your reading pleasure.

Acts 20:24-27
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
“And now I know that none of you to whom I have preached the Kingdom will ever see me again.I declare today that I have been faithful. If anyone suffers eternal death, it’s not my fault, for I didn’t shrink from declaring all that God wants you to know.

Do you live like you can say that you have done ALL you can to tell others about Jesus and His saving grace!! I know I definitely need to step up my GAME:)

Thanks Chris and ELife for reminding me!!

Ladies Night

So Justin has been hosting a “Guy’s Night” at our house for the last 6-7 months so I thought it was about time for a “Girl’s Night” 🙂 With Justin being in Fort Worth I don’t have to kick him out of the house so it’s perfect 😉 I invited most of the wives of the guys that were regulars at the “Guy’s Night” and it ended up just being 5 of us. We had a relaxing kid-free time (my kids were asleep) ;). We had snacks and beverages and watched The Switch. Thanks for coming ladies!!!

So I don’t really know how I happened upon this site but it is AMAZING!!! I HIGHLY recommend all moms signing up for the Daily emails!!
